Taste- still has a bit of structure (“velvety” tannins), surprisingly boozy (14%), high acid, not a ton of fruit (if anything, like eating one of the extremely tiny hyper red strawberries).
Pair specifically with Dear Margaret’s rabbit ragu holy batman

Medium garnet, transparent. A: darker fruits, damp forest, and lots of spice — nice perfume on it. F: more red fruited, lots of spice, somewhat concentrated flavor and good length with some fine tannins and bright on the finish. Not exuberant but plenty of fruit, fair amount of intrigue!
Opened in the morning, then Drinking pretty open after a couple of hours in the glass.

Barely any nose to speak of. Tart, little fruit, splinter like tannins. Turned to rubber on day two. A reminder how you have to sift through many bottles of swill in Burgundy before finding the one that keeps you coming back. Bad purchase off WineBid. Disappointing especially coming from a top Beaune 1er in a solid year. Multiple bottles tasted. Agree with a previous reviewer about the Nebbiolo aspect. Probably the sour cherry and splinter like tannins.

Tuesday Night Double Blind $40+ (Bin 75 Alpharetta, GA): Cloudier pale crimson, orange in rim; menthol, roses, cinnamon, sour cherry, floral, cedar with a touch of animal in the background, mushroom, from the nose this really smells like Nebbiolo; good flesh and broadness with firm acid and a little grainy tannin, not profound but a nice wine; fooled most for Nebbiolo at some point.

This bottle was in better shape. High neck fill. Seemed to be fading but not oxidized and more pleasurable than the last few.
