This bottle (I think my last) is less developed and therefore just great now. Some acidity, flowery, long finish. This clearly was 93-94 in its youth, but it’s not far from that now. Just different.

Moving to sort of a cross between Tondonia/Musar and Hermitage. Color is much more yellowish golden and mature wax/apple notes with a slight sherry wiff. Not oily and with a slight acidity, very light on its feet.

Light amber color. Sweet honey nose. Sweetness combined with some acidity and salinity give this a highly textured, complex style. Not a quaffer - more of an intellectual white - wonderful now. Long finish - again all sweetness and some nuttiness. Will have it with grilled tuna.

P: MF, poss Med, body; Decent, almost elegant, honeysuckle frt met by BRACING acidity. Long, VERY slightly bitterish finish, though with ULT a honied nuance. Tasted @ $39.99. [As of early May '20, wine-searcher still shows 1 source @ $79.99].

Vin de France Partie (The WineSellar & Brasserie, San Diego, CA): WAY too cold! [The bottle was taken DIRECTLY from an ice bath to pour!]
N: CLOSED; Pineapples?
