{screwcap, 14.5%} Distinctly crimson, confirming its youth. Pepper and plums are the chief aromas and flavours; the tannins are of the barest hint only, acid is soft and friendly. There is a little warmth coming through; that combination of alcoholic heat, dark-ish colour and slightly washed-out flavours always reveals the (presumably) young vine or high yield nature of the raw materials. But it's not too bad; although not for cellaring.
