  Colore rosso rubino, tonalità parzialmente violacee, che già fanno presagire la capacità di affinarsi in bottiglia ancora per diversi anni. Lucentezza medio-alta con qualche striatura dovuta sia alla coltivazione biologica (non filtrato?) sia alla ossidazione della superficie nel bicchiere.
  Di buon corpo, non eccessivo, tannini abbastanza vivi e vivaci, ancora quelli necessari ad astringere le gengive dopo 5 anni di affinamento, ed ammorbidirsi nel corso dei prossimi 5 anni. Produmo e sensazione gustativa coerente, di frutta rossa, ciliegia, noce moscata appena accennata, liquirizia, pepe poco presente. Estratto secco abbastanza rilevante. Per me un prodotto Antinori eccellente, frutto di un blend di rossi attento e fine. Ottima degustazione. Accompagnato a crackers non salati e formaggio a pasta semi-dura.

  Lots of dark fruit, along with a sweetness I'd normally expect from a new world wine. Finish was uninspiring but this improved on the second day after opening

  Spicy and earthy coffee and cherry scents. A smooth, rich, and silkily tannic Aglianico blend with plenty of mocha, plums, and dark cherries, leather, chocolate and spice. Well made and good value too.
