  • Last bottle off the wine list over dinner at Bayswater Kitchen. Drank in Gabriel Standart.
Appearance is clear, pale intensity, lemon colour. Legs.
Nose is clean, medium+ intensity, with aromas of saline mienrality + some white chalk with more air, honeysuckle, goosberry, guava, green melon, hints of passionfruit. Developed.
On the palate, dry, medium+ acidity, medium+ alcohol (13.5%), medium+ body. Medium+ flavour intensity, with flavours of oily citrus lemon and melon, lemon curd, honeysuckle, gooseberry, grapefruit, salty saline minerality. Surprisingly long finish.
Good quality. Still fruity. But I think not for further ageing. Nothing much more to develop already. Flavours all melded together in a nice package.
40% Chardonnay, 40% Sauvignon Blanc, 20% Viognier. Fermented separately and aged in stainless steel. Malolactic blocked.

  • First time tasting this.
A blend of 40% each Chardonnay & Sauvignon Blanch, with 20 % Viogner.
Fine nose with elderberries and grapefruit
On the palate this is fresh with a little dry sweetness, sweet yellow grapefruit, peaches and a touch of with pepper on the finish.
Very nice, light & fresh Piemonte white.
