Ben's duck supper (Ben and Estella's place, Parramatta): Aromas of spice over biscuit, berry and cherry. In the mouth the wine is juicy, quite alcoholically warm with slight front of mouth tannic grip. I'm not discerning much fruit on the palate.

A nice, bright nose of cherry ripe, spicy oak and dark plums with a hint of fresh mint. The palette has a chewy acidity and while the finish is a little short, it is still quite well balanced. I'd give this a year or two to settle down.
