Through the Heart of France; 11/17/2013-11/25/2013 (Centre, Aubrac, Languedoc and Paris): Golden orange. Apricot, nuts, and a whiff of oxidation. Rich, unctuous but the sweetness is tamed by terrific soil and acidity. Reminded me of a hypothetical blend of Vin Jaune and Sauternes. Just a little astringency at the end keeps it from being entirely excellent. Very interesting dessert wine nonetheless.
