A sugary Chardonnay that tastes more like a dessert wine than a mountain Chardonnay. Light yellow in color, medium in body, nose of gooseberry and lemon. Tastes of cantaloupe, vanilla, and candied almond, with a somewhat oily finish. 14.3% alcohol. Almost like a wealthy person's KJ Reserve, this wine has acidity and fruit, but its sweet streak was too much for me. Maybe it was bottle or age, but this was disappointing.

Nice medium body Chardonnay, plenty of fruit complemented by minerality, acidity and moderate oak. This has a lower profile than many big CA Chardonnays and I like that a lot.

Pop and pour. Served at refrigerator temp. Outstanding California style chardonnay with brilliant use of oak to compliment beautiful fruit unobtrusively. Drinking great, bravo!

It's a good oaky style California Chardonnay, but Chalk Hill is very close and can be found for 1/3rd the cost.

Love this wine! Strikes a nice balance between "over the top" Cali Chards and cooler climate Chards from Washington and Oregon.
