  Strong notes of espresso and dark chocolate on the nose. Rich and earthy taste profile. Very well structured, great balance, stalwart finish. Better integrated than the 2010 vintage but it still needs several years to reveal its many charms.

  Drank over two days. It was reticent and somewhat horsey on the first day, then revved to life on the second. The bouquet featured oodles of red fruit and berries, flowers, and minerals. The structured and gripping palate offered excellent definition and lift. Great finish. Rustic!
