Clearly natural winey, almost certainly carbonic. Dark fruit, big green/pyrazine streak, sleek carbonicy extract, good depth for a wine like this and not overpowered by acidity. Tasty if not serious, and excellent qpr for the $12 I paid.

This is a good if not particularly complex, interesting, or challenging bottle of Loire Cabernet Franc. Medium plus acidity, medium minus body, medium tannins (powdery). Slightly juicy, with nice notes of cherry and red fruits, a bit of earth, and very little green pepper here. Unremarkable finish. Ready to go now through the next 2-3 years.
For my money ($12), I would prefer Guion Prestige or a lower end Baudry over this Pepiere. Both deliver a lot more. Stick with the Pepiere whites, which are awesome both objectively and in terms of their value.

Spicy red fruit, very pronounced on the nose. Tight, green, and violety. Very delicious and fun as easy going.
