  • John says: Really dry and crisp, great right out of the fridge, slight fruit, not oaky at all. Like it quite a bit, I'm going to say 85!
Unremarkable in terms of flavors when fresh from the fridge, but upon opening the fruit hints became more pronounced while stil remaining dry. A hint of pear, still no oak.
Overall something I'd buy again, great value.

  • when thinking about people, i consider modesty to be a virtue. when thinking about wine, modesty is a less attractive trait. this wine teaches a lesson about false modesty. never serve a white wine overly chilled. it hides whatever character the wine might have. after warming up, this wine showed off it's saint-veran heritage. however, the wine never really blossomed fully. although it may have been the winemaker's inention to produce a clean cut finisish, to my taste, there is too much steel and not enough oak to nourish the fruit.
