The color is still vibrant yellow with the barest hint of orange. Mature, secondary and tertiary flavors predominate the palate. Very enjoyable Burgundy in its sweet spot.

PopnPour, tasted over 2 hrs -translucent med gold -old white burg nose with light oxidative notes and a touch of lanolin -med acidity deceptively peeks in late near the finish, med weight, silky texture, faint nuttiness and lanolin, complexity struts its stuff on the sappy earthy mushroom caramel finish -this is really quite pleasant and still has a few years of life left though don't expect it to get any better, the level of oxidation on this bottle is what one would expect for its age
