Lucia Restaurant - Bernardus - Carmel Valley (Monterey): A nice match with seared foie gras. Not too sweet or cloying, and just the right amount of intensity; it came off balanced but nicely viscous. Apricot, peach, and some honey flavors. A solid representation of this style. 90 easy points.

Rich apple cider nose with some floral elements. Some peach jam, flower nectar, and undertones of ginger on the palate. Sweet and deep without being cloying=success.

Melon, ginger, perfumed nose. Clean, honeyed palate with apricot, peaches, flowers. Sweet but cleansing. Nice stuff.
