  Deep garnet in the glass. Medium intensity on the nose with notes of dried plum, dark cherry, blackberry, dark chocolate, licorice and sweet spices (cloves, vanilla). Full body, superb balance of expressed acidity and tannins. Warm alcohol on the aftertaste with a fruity-bitter finish of a combo of cooked & fresh fruit. Enormous potential of this wine, a gem at the price.

  A solid sangiovese. Really tight even after aerating. Needs time decanting. Limited character, too well rounded. Suppose more complexity may show up in some hours.

  Almost completely opaque, slightly developed figgy red color. Sweet, opulent nose with somewhat developed aromas of figs, blackcurrant jam, some dried prunes, a little leather and a hint of sweet oak. The wine is full-bodied and although dry, feels moderately sweet in its ripeness. There are flavors of ripe dark cherries, peppery spice, some sour plums, a little blackcurrant and a hint of leather. The wine is rather soft and smooth yet balanced with moderately high acidity and moderate tannins. Alcohol feels a little. The finish is medium-long and a bit warm with spicy flavors of dark cherries, peppery spice, some sour cherry tang, a little smoke and a hint of sweet oak. Tannins give the wine a little grip.
  
  Overall this is a quite good and tasty red wine, but lacking in character - at the end of the day there is fairly little of anything Tuscan going on here. Although I think this is a pretty good wine, it feels so vague and lacking delineation I find it very hard to get excited over this wine. Feels a bit overpriced at 25,99€.
