Community Tasting Notes (1) Avg Score: 88.3 points

  • Open and warm aromas of forest floor, roasted plums and dark berries.
On palate medium bodied with pure succulent dark fruit, not too much oak. Quite a bit of minerality on the background also. In the finish is a strong lifting acidity, and drying, chalky tannins start to dominate in the dusty, earthy aftertaste.
Could still use some age, but already totally delicious. (Have to say that the Wine improved a lot the next day. It gained more length, balance and depth).
