  Amateur des "rocoules" de M. Sorrel (oui, évidement...) , j'ai pu découvrir ce congénère dont je ne connaissais absolument pas le producteur (Merci Bernard); j'ai adoré ! Moins précis et moins droit certes (moins taillé pour la garde), il n'en demeure pas moins épanoui à ce stade, ample, rond, caressant, presque voluptueux, et pourtant sans lourdeur aucune, et bel et bien racé avec la belle longueur langoureuse qui fait les beaux Hermitage (peu acidulé mais à peine salin, étiré par sa minéralité). Sur l'acacia, le miel, les fleurs sucrées, il est à mes yeux bien typique de son appellation, assez pur (pas de bois qui dégouline) et très digeste en même temps. Pour un vin de gastronomie, nous l'avons bien entamé à l'apéro, tout seul, pour lui-même !

  Opened about an before serving. Bright acidity, pears, beeswax, peach blossom, pure minerality. So impressive. Rich yet balanced. Oily but at once clean and pure. Marsanne really expresses itself till the finish, when a singular 1% roussanne shows itself. Still super young, it should be magnificent in a decade or two.
