Deep gold, butter, minerals, quince on nose and on the palate, beautiful acidity, really rounds the richness of the palate, medium finish. Would have loved more mid palate and finish. Great wine nonetheless. Drinks well for few more years

Organic. This is a fairly dry style of Meursault. I found it a bit one dimensional, though perhaps it will improve with age. This is priced at 56 euros a bottle, which is extortionate, as it certainly tastes like a villages rather than a 1er cru.

Quite light straw yellow in colour and body, the nose has notes of lemon, hazelnut and flowers, it's a bit reticent still and needs some swirling. The palate really grabs you though, a good mouthful of ripe fruits, plenty of citrus washing it through your mouth leaving a lovely long finish with notes of honey and nuts mixing with the fruit and oak. This doesn't show much Meursault fat, just enough to know its place and more the style I prefer. Really quite lovely but not a cheap village wine

Decent acidity and mineral initially, but faded a bit towards the finish. Didn't pack the punch I was hoping from Meursault, but a pleasant drink.

Need a bit of air for the sulphur to disappear. An okay bottle of village meursault but it never really impress.
