PnP. Medium light red, yellowing edge, 4.5. Generous bouquet of dark fruits with a solid portion of oaky notes as well. Rather rustic for a ten year old but the style suited the food well, m-T, mA, mB, a bit dry on the palate. The last glass standing for about one hour before drinking had gotten more acidic loosing fruit without other stuff replacing. Drink up.

Dn1h. Medium red, red tinged, 5. Generous nose, oaky, dark fruits behind. Same to be said for the palate, a bit dry due to the oak. Wait 3 years at least although I am in doubt if it will end up balanced.

Benefitted from another year showing more fruit and a little bit better balance of acid. Per last note paired really nicely with a red sauce pasta and a step up in class from a 2015 Villages we had last night. Excited to see how the 2014/2015s turn out as we’ve had good experiences with village level on both vintages

All Acid no fruit, had it side by side with the 2015 to tell difference - even in its youth it’s so clear 2015 is the far better vintage. This wine must be had with bold food otherwise it’s naked on its own. Would pair well with heavily seasoned Salmon or coq au vin or something similar

Wonderful aromas of ripe black fruit, slightly sweet spice with some pronounced new oak. Similar flavors, but more reserved and with the oak seemingly more pronounced. Moderate weight for 1er Cru. Probably better in another 2-5 years.
