  The cork came out in pieces as it was completely dry, a thing which made me nervous... Happily though the wine had no problem. Color was a healthy ruby and nose while showing some evolution offered fresh and tart cherry and strawberry fruit together with floral notes. Quite spicy with slight notes of undergrowth. Quite complex. Has a Burgundian touch...
  Palate is smooth, sleek, with the same pinot-like fruit as the nose together with peppery spices. Tannins are excellent and acidity quite high but well balanced by fruit. Good finish. A very nice wine, almost cool climate and yet from Roussillon... Could keep for 5 more years.
