My bottle is a bit past the drinking age but has been stored extremely well. I decanted for an hour, served with beefy, meaty, smoked ribs. Paired well, the spice in the wine, the smell of tobacco and the slightest hint of cherry. A hint of muskiness as the wine continued to open up. I started with 6 bottles of this over the years and this is the last bottle. Would make this purchase again.

Dark purple color. Decanted for 90 minutes. This wine was unquestionably excellent (6 of us agreed) and much preferred over the 2000 fronsac. Dried black cherry and woody almost mushroom nose. Big and rich with a nice balance of fruit and spice, and strong backbone of tannins. Well structured and surprisingly good for the price point. As expected from my notes 5 years ago the wine has really evolved even more. The wine is drinking very well, perhaps will get even better despite the CT drinking window. But see no reason to wait and look forward to popping another bottle soon.

A well stored bottle obtained from a reliable source - still in good drinking condition. Suprisingly light bodied for a Languedoc red with flavours of liquorice and herbs. Good effort

Still drinking very nicely. This is one of the best QPR's I have bought. This was the last bottle....

Very good. Got better with each glass. Paired with pork loin and roasted root vegetables. Quite nice.
