  Initially the bouquet was overwhelmed by the sulfur, but after 30 minutes in decanter opened up to a nice oak and fruit combo with dried fruit flavors. Balanced and elegant. Medium length and pleasant finish.

  Open aromatic wine, fresh yet complex with a genuinely complex bouquet and clean lifted fruit palate. Length too. Very nice.

  Très monotone a l'ouverture, boisé devant, vanille, fruit derrière...
  ... puis il s'est ouvert après 45-60 minutes, le fruit passant devant, les épices, côté viandé, touche de garrigue, boisé toujours mais en meilleur équilibre qu'à l'ouverture.
  Il a encore de la mâche, tanins en phase de s'assouplir mais qui devront attendre encore un peu. Ceci dit, pas certain qu'il digérera son bois, lequel est assez présent malgré tout.

  Un nez de pâtisserie, tarte aux fruits, indiquant un élevage appuyé, tout comme ces notes de caramel brûlé. Bouche ronde et mûre, lissée par l'élevage, on sent l'alcool, même s'il ne brûle pas, ça se veut charmeur. Le fruit semble en retrait, il a mal évolué, le bois parait l'avoir absorbé plutôt que l'inverse! Un vin qui m'ennuie, moderne et sans âme. 85 pts
  
  Très étonné, moi qui l'avait trouvé plein de fruits en 2009, est-ce mon goût ou le vin qui a changé?

  Drinking nicely here. We gave this a soft decanting, and paired with beef strip steak and chimichuri. It followed a malbec we had nicely. This wine is not past its window.
