Nose is moderately aromatic, some spice; palate is full bodied, surprisingly lacking in fruit, somewhat bitter taste; short clipped finish. Not good. 78

Quite fruit forward. Good balance with white pepper and other spices (cinnamon and nutmeg). Silky tannins. Medium-full mouthfeel. Slight oak and leather. I don't recall other CSM Syrahs being this fruity. It works for me.

This was pretty good. Blackberry juice aromas and flavors seasoned with flattering oak. Perhaps a string of black licorice. Round and full in the mouth. Well done. Good wine at any price, but a nice QPR at $15. I'll pick this up again for sure. My wife really liked this even more. 89

Somewhat meaty, more than I would expect from a Washington Syrah, not named Cayuse. Lots of berry fruit also, but not overly fruity.

A fantastic bargain. I don't believe in QpR, but if I did, would qualify.
