Superb! Luscious fruit, crisp, hints of vanilla and apricot. I've never seen so much sediment in a bottle of chardonnay but then again I've never let one sit for 5 years. Plenty of life left but drinking great right now.

Solid, pleasing chard; not as lush or rich as the 2010 Reserve that I opened a couple of weeks ago, notes of tropical citrus fruit (pineapple and lemon curd) and apple, vanilla.

40th Anniversary Magnum Party; 6/3/2017-6/4/2017 (R&D's): From 750ml, leftover from two nights prior. Smoky apple fruit with a touch of melon. Lacks the tropical fruit of the Barcaglia Lane and I definitely prefer this. Full-bodied with a lengthy finish.

Medium pale yellow. Definite oak influence in the nose, a bit buttery, floral, daisies and some white pepper. Medium acidity (6.5/10) and medium bodied. A touch of heat on the palate with oaky notes, spices and citrus. Medium plus finish. Drink till 2020.

Tasted at the winery. 9.1 Not a great QPR: 4.0 Color: Hazy lemon/green N: Lemon curd on buttered popcorn, hairspray, pineapple M: Leesy (may need to be decanted). Caramelized pineapple, limestone, bright acidity. F: Loads of sweet lemon custard, vanilla, panna cotta.
One of my least fav Rsv chards from Lewis.
