A very pleasant, friendly wine, entirely approachable without decanting. When compared with other Priorat reds I've tasted, this wine is considerably more fruit-forward, lighter in the mouth, shorter on the finish, and lacking that lingering sensation of mineral sediment often experienced with other wines from the region. However, it's very nicely balanced, with a good mix of bright and dark fruits. It's also eminently quaffable, seeing just enough oak to soften the boatloads of unexpectedly fresh fruit. 45% carignan, 45% grenache, and 10% cabernet sauvignon, aged in older French oak for 12 months.

Nice, drinkable red of medium body. Smooth with good balance. Good but not especially noteworthy.
