From the most historical vineyard in the region - monks have cultivated it for 900 years and they have rented it for the next 40 years but the monks won't sell the ground.
"Red Skin" is what the varietal names and therefore they partly ferment it on the skins.
Also a crossing of traminer and veltliner, fraternal twin with Rotgipfler. Or rather making it a fraternal twin with the other.
more floral citrus, less of the ripe yellow fruit character. Great stuff.
