  At the post Barrell Auction party from a magnum. Just introduced to this wine on this trip...tried to buy the auction lot.
  
  Medium ruby/purple color. Fragrant nose of dark fruits, floral/violet notes, some caramel/honey. Classic, fruit forward palate of dark cherry, baking spices and earth. Great textuire on mid palate. Drinking very well right now and seems it will hold at this level for a while and should continue to develop. Good upside+

  Very good wine that will be almost outstanding in a few years. Big juicy fruit, very silky, medium bodied, decent finish. Good acidity. A bit of spice with the dark red fruit, but enough structure that more complexity should certainly develop in a few years. Tasty.

  This wine has a bewitching nose. Beautiful wine.
  
  A lot more complexity and depth emerged on the second day. At this stage of its life, this wine really needs some air to really showcase all it has to offer.
