Delicious! Blackberry, blueberry, lavender, black pepper, cinnamon, black licorice, vanilla, cream and a touch of root beer. Perfectly balanced, with just enough acidity and tannin. Did not notice the high alcohol at all.

Tight and guarded, comically, but emerging hints of cherry, blackberry, and cedar bark. and some licorice. Scents of rubber and peat add a twist to things. A La Brea tar finish keeps it challenging. Overall impression; a winnah!

Very nice syrah, drinking nicely now. PNP, improved over an hour or two but definitely ready to go in you need to pull a bottle in a hurry. A surprising combo of dark berries and floral notes on the nose, with plenty of restrained fruit on the palate. The 15.2% alcohol could mislead you, it does not come on strong at all.

Very good. Big bold Rhône style wine. 4-6 more years of cellar time
