Good, but a little thinner than I expected for a Cab of this price or age. Very flavorful, but disappeared from the palate too quickly. Maybe another 5+ year of aging? Had with cheese and crackers. It was good. But feel it would have fallen short of holding up to a fatty ribeye or a NY Strip.

Decanter Fine Wine Encounter (The Landmark, London): blackcurrant concentrate, polished oak, smells dense & a little overdone. On the palate its thick and overripe. Tastes like someone has boiled jam to a thick concentrate. Ugh.

This wine demonstrates why people fall in love with Napa Cab. It's all here-color brick with hints of purple out to the rim; no signs of advanced age; opaque, pronounced slowly moving legs, intense aroma of blackberry, blueberry, cedar, tobacco, smokey wood. Lots of sediment. In the mouth, intense Mt. fruit, supple tannin, medium + acidity and a long balanced finish. Obviously, a small production. Select Atlas Mt. fruit
