Very dark in color for a pinot noir. On the nose and palate, the wine at this point is more subdued than the color would suggest. Medium red fruit, some herbal notes. Drank over two nights with no significant changes over the two nights.

Among several other Oregon Pinot Noirs along with Christmas Day ham dinner, this doesn’t stand out. It’s… fine. Smooth and easy going down. But it lacks the life and vibrancy I generally expect from better producers from the region.

PnP. The color was a clear medium violet to a faded rim. Notes of dark red fruit and earth on the nose. On the palate this wine was, in a word - smooth. The dark red fruit and earth notes were joined by some herbal notes, with everything wrapped in just the right amount of acidity. This wine will probably hold for several more years, but I don't think it will improve much so drink now for maximum enjoyment.

I don't think it will improve with more time. I would drink now.
