Gorgeous aromatics of black fruits and berries with earth and asphalt notes. Rich and full witout being overripe. Great integrated acidity and tannins. This is singing now. Actually wish I had more

Decanted for 20 minutes with some sediment. A blend of 72% Syrah, 21% Mourvedre, and 7% Grenache. Dark purple color. Dark red fruits on the nose. These dark red fruits are heavy on the medium palate, along with some blue and black fruits, spice, earth and a bit of pepper. The acidity is juicy, but balancing, and the tannins are integrated. However, the 15.5% abv was noticeable, and the dark red fruits began to fade after about 45 minutes. Drink these soon as they seem to be aging out.

In a good place right now with plenty of life left. Black cherry, dark chocolate, and a bit of Sharpie. Not much savory considering the Syrah. Big, but not overbearing, although it needs ample airtime to blow off its alcoholic heat. Good stuff.

A nose of dark fruit and minerals, dark black purple in color. A full bodied and bold red blend, with black berries, black raspberries, spice and minerals on finish. Needs a short decant, drink now, was better in some recent vintages. www.winelx.com
