Apparently I drank most of the last bottle I had as this label lists the abv as 14.3% and not 14.8%.
The alcohol is still present but it's not overwhelming. More roasted than stewed plum/red fruit aromas. Full bodied with lots of ripe fruit flavors along with cola and refreshing acidity.

Slightly rusty aged translucency on the edges with a deep alizarin crimson hue throughout. Stewed berries, kola nut, candied cherry, orange peel, nuanced warm baking spice and even a touch of earthy herbal influence to add complexity on the finish. Medium mouthfeel, velvet suede. A glorious Pinot from California just a bit heavier and more sensual than seductive in nature, keeping me from absolutely falling for it and instead wondering why it gave me the room key.

I agree with the flavor profile that WineAggregate describes but what wasn't mentioned was the alcohol, 14.8% ABV! The wine is balanced but that alcohol is by no means invisible. I'll wait a few years until the next one.

A beautiful wine! Aromas of Asian spice, cherry, exotic and volatile. On the palate it was concentrated, pure, with juicy cherry, a bit of strawberry, with a long finish. The color was red/blue. Elegant, untiring, everyone liked it.

Still with primary flavors. Youthful color. Mild to moderate nose.
