  • PnP after 30 mins. in the fridge. Light slightly watery crimson Pinot correct colour. Cranberry sour cherry nose with a stemmy note and a touch of sassafras. Light weight with a slightly grippy grape seed tannins. Crunchy red fruits on the palate with a touch of cola. Racy sour cherry skin finish. A lighter style with lots of vibrancy and complexity. The acidity sings with food. Great with grilled sable fish.

  • Nose of bright cherry, juicy cranberry, smoky oak, some match sulpher notes that largely blew off with air. Tart and acidic fruit on palate with lots of crunchy cherry and mouthwatering cranberry fruit. The oak is present but adds a nice smoky and meaty aspect without overpowering. There is a subtle green stem aspect which may be from stem inclusion or just simply a cooler climate characteristic. Overall I am quite pleased with this wine and appreciate the restraint shown to allow the pinot character to shine through.

  • Pale red. Anemic nose. Sour-acidic flavours of overripe cherries. Thin, watered down. Mercifully short finish. No signs of improvement with aeration or time. Avoid.
