  Needs a bit of air after opening, but as it unfolds, the wine has rich fruit, slick tannins, and the classic combination of cherry, tar, and a hint of leather that I expect from tempranillo. Not as full-bodied as some and with the restraint and acidity of a food wine, but once it opens up, it's a very enjoyable drink.

  Reasonably serious stuff. Sampled in the context of a potential by-the-glass but sadly I don't think it works for that. Otherwise completely my bag - cold tea, raspy tannin, blood and dark fruits, long length. Very young for mine the presence of the tannin.
