Written from memory - not massively complex but beautifully balanced. Went very well indeed with salmon in dill sauce. I didn't get much in the way of mineral/acidity which would make me think this had potential for bottle development but I imagine it would drink beautifully over the next 2 to 3 years.

Bright with good minerality. Marsanne citrus is light and focused. Beautiful balance. Tasted with Colombo's La Redonne white; both were good, but I gave this the edge for it's mineral character.

A initial whiff of Elmer's glue suggests marsanne will dominate, but then that blows off quickly, and I sense white peaches, honeysuckle and sugar cane (reminiscent of a Curran grenache blanc) on the nose. On the palate the wine is rich, lush, fairly low in acid. I don't have much experience with St. Peray but on the whole this wine had me thinking Paso Robles, not the Rhone. Has no need for food and would be a sure crowd pleaser at a party or reception, but would also be good with pork or roast chicken.
