I drank the 1996 and 2001 Estate Cab at the same time. Both wines were a little light in body but the color held together well. Good berry flavors for both with a short finish. Both were good and enjoyable. Nothing more, nothing less.

Really delicious. These wines need lots of age and this is my last Cab from Sullivan and I seem to have waited long enough. On the nose: dried cranberries and other dark red fruits, eucalyptus, cedar and dusty minerals. On the palate: dusty dried dark red cherries, cassis, with black and green peppers and baking spices. Tannins integrated nicely and did not hinder the expression of the fruit. Wonderful.

Well-balanced fruit and acidity, especially after an hour of decanting. Still drinking quite young.

This wine is drinking perfectly right now...soft, supple and smooth and what a slick finish! Glad I waited all these years to drink this.
