Ripe black cherry with earth notes throughout. Overall good weight. Better lift and freshness vs my previous bottle from 6 months ago, but still getting tired after open two hours.

Still surprisingly fresh and enjoyable. Ripe black cherry with sweet spice and earth. Good concentration, ending with roasted meat on a good finish that ends with enough acidity that helped keep this reasonably bright.

This was surprisingly good. Complex, mature nose with well-integrated, deep, rich fruit. Still a bit of a tingle on the tongue, but a very enjoyable pinot with a solid finish.

Very unfriendly funky nose upon uncorking. This dissipated quickly. Medium red core with a touch of purple. Lighter at the rim. Expressive, nicely funky nose showing cherries and barnyard. Smells mature, but still a bit spritzy on the first taste. Medium body with berry and cherry fruit. Some earthy dirtiness showing through. Silky tannins that gain in the mid-palate and through the finish. Broad and long. A good dose of earthiness on the finish.
I was worried at first opening, but this showed well. Interestingly, it regained the unfriendly funk upon recorking and opening again the next night. Perhaps a bad cork, but this wine was not flawed.

Ripe black cherry with earth, tannins and baking spice. Good density, but tannins a bit assertive on finish, detracting from the overall balance.
