  • Blind. Looks like a sangiovese in the glass, has that auburn color and then the nose has a whiff of smoked meat and red fruit. Stumped... The palate is strawberry, cranberry, and ripe cherry with a smoke note. Wait, might be a nebbiolo. Enjoying the wine and the puzzle. Decide pinot because of the fruit. Oh the bottle is sitting right in front of me. The remains were given to Chris because she like it. Paired with salmon tonight. Good stuff.
