PnP. Light greenish gold. Typical sauvignon nose. Initially this was too cold but as it warmed developed lovely varietal character. This wine has aged very well but I'm not sure its special. I often enjoy the estate SB as much as these.

Gold in color. 14.5% ABV. From the oldest Sauvignon Blanc vines in California. Subdued nose of pear, lemon and flowers. Medium body with exquisite acidity. Rich and oily. Grapefruit, vanilla, lemon oil and minerals on the palate. Medium length on the finish. Gorgeous wine that is showing well on a warm Summer night in Seattle. Best over the next year or so.

We thought this was fantastic, enjoyed with the first dungeoness crab of the year. These are always special bottles. Straw-colored, fresh nose, herbal component, cut hay and a bit of wood. On the palate, just freshness, grassy, tart pear, impeccably balanced acidity and a welcome touch of oak. Fleshes out after being open for a while. Crisp minerally finish. I think this is in prime drinking window, don’t miss out!

Nice, simple SB. Perhaps it would have been better younger. Muted aromatics and short finish. Neither crisp nor fruity style. Trying to be complex, but the result is rather simple.

Very good. Peach donut ring flavor dominates. Decent acidity. Texture is a bit oily. Drink in the near term.
