Tuscan Lunch chez Joel (Kent countryside, UK): Seville organges on the nose with marmelade on the palate delivered with good density and impressive concentration. Nicely balanced and better than I was expecting.

Joel's Tuscan Lunch (A farmhouse in leafy Kent): 100% late harvest Petit Manseng. Sweet cereal and vanilla on the nose. Opulent but still in balance, with real depth of flavour. Slightly generic, but definitely enjoyable, and went really well with the dessert.

2010 ORNUS dell`ORNELLAIA TOSCANA- guessing 500 ml weird shaped bottle; made from late harvest Petit Manseng; yellow brown colour; with honeyed and nutty almond, it gave up rich apricot fruit aromas and taste though the finish; it was creamy thick and delicious; thanks to our prince of sweets for his continued gifts of sweet finishes for our dinners.

A nice and rare treat from Ornellaia. 100% Petit Manseng I believe. A lot of exotic fruits mixed with a touch of vanilla. Bright supporting acidity. Could be cellared for many more years, but it's perfect now.

Ai Fiori's Ornellaia/Masseto dinner (Ai Fiori (Langham Hotel on 5th Ave)): What a treat as one rarely finds these in the US at all. Very sweet and soft, orange peel, great acidity, less viscous than some other dessert wines this one is a bit more light on its feel. Young and bright. A very nice ending to the meal.
