  • Last tasting early 2020, good time to try again.

Constent with prior notes:" Medium ruby color, some thinning at the edge. Nose showing blue fruits and licorice. Medium/fruit forward palate of dark fruits, black cherry, mineral notes. Medium weight and finish. Tannins fined."

Picked up some tart fruit this time on the mid palate. The dark/blue fruits still prevalent. Ttill rich and expressive, not loosing any fruit at this point. This bottle had a bit more depth (from memory). It was good to go after a splash decant. Drink or hold

  • Working my way through PNV wines during our stay-at-home, good opportunity to open this one. Experience with Raymond with our PNV auctions has been good...excellent wines at good prices (by PNV standards) Decanted for about 30 minutes, drank over an hour.

Medium ruby color, some thinning at the edge. Nose showing blue fruits and licorice. Medium/fruit forward palate of dark fruits, black cherry, mineral notes. Medium weight and finish. Tannins fined

In a good spot now. Consistent with the 2012 vintage (at least in my cellar) these wines were ready young. They should continue to drink well for a while but will not likely improve (IMO). Would drink over next 3-5 years. Good stuff.
