Very different from the last bottle. This one was a lot more very dirty earthy Style. I definitely plan to retry soon to see what direction this is going in. Last bottle I had was not a peak but this one seems to be. Still a very good enjoyable wine.

92+. Inky dark color with minimal lightening around the edges. Restrain bouquet with some spice and pepper and a little hint of dark fruit. On the pallet it is very concentrated and dense. Earth, dark fruit, minerals. Loads of tannins. This is really tight and needs more time. Incredible qpr. I am in no rush to try the next bottle. I may wait 6 months or a year. They're 2012 pavillon I tried the other day is much more accessible right now. Based on the tasting of this wine I think that this wine needs another few years before hitting Peak so maybe best from 2026 to 2031?

This is so much more backward than the last time I tasted it. Still excellent, but tannic, acidic and tight. Dark purple color with dark ruby edges. Smoky mineral flint, fresh forest, earth bouquet. Medium to full bodied with concentrated fruit and loads of tannins. Loads of flint, mineral, lead pencil, earth, smoke flavors which continue on its long finish. An incredible QPR wine. Based on todays tasting, best from 2025-2031. (previous tastings would show it to be approachable sooner). Great balance and concentration. 13% ABV. Delcious. A must have. Cellar selection. Will likely try again in a year

92-93+. Absolutely killer. Inky dark color. Explosive Smokey leather earthy tobacco bouquet. Concentrated and complex. loads of fruit flavor with smoke Earth mineral leather tobacco cedar. Long finish. While it has excellent fruit and flavors there's still a lot of tannins. Drinkable and enjoyable now specially with breathing it will open up even more over the next couple of years. Definitely enjoyable now until 2026 but could possibly go to 2031. Outstanding QPR
