Walla Walla Syrah Festival "Vintage Pour" (Cavu Cellars, Walla Walla): Nice talking with Rich Funk! Very well-made wine. Tasted twice with equal impressions. White pepper, scorched earth, minerals, raspberries, Bing cherry and a nice rustic edge on the finish. Medium plus.

With ham at a family Thanksgiving dinner. No notes. Yummy.
From tasting of several vintage Washington Cabs and Syrahs, no detailed notes.
Very enjoyable wine. Cherry, dark fruit, meat, saline, olive, and funk.
Not has strong as the 2012 vintage, but still a very good Syrah.
