Enjoyed this wine yet again. The fruit is ripe and a bit rustic, a welcome change from a number of more polished Brunello wines I've tasted recently. Aroma shows earthy, smoky touches in addition to the barique influenced baking pastry-like sweetness. Still evolving, no hurry here.

Rich and concentrated. Dark ruby in color, accompanied by aromas of black berries. There is also a hint of background oak. The palate is well-balanced, and it still has aging potential. Good wine.

Big, juicy wine; fleshes out nicely in the glass. Classic smoky, earthy aroma, backed by red fruit, dried spices. A classic Brunello, not simply a ripe and well made sangiovese wine. Still some residual tannins, but they add complexity to the overall profile. Enjoyed this effort quite a bit.

Just an outstanding example.
Textbook aromas of red fruits (plum), spice, violets, leather etc. No doubt that this is 100% Sangiovese.
The wine is medium plus in body , with medium tannins, good acidity and seems fully mature.
This is a great producer and a great value. Not sure it will get better, but this can easily keep another decade plus if stored properly.
