  Fairly deep purple with nicely stained cork. Significant sediment, including some crystals on cork. Very subtle bouquet, nearly non-existent. Some tannins. Not decanted but needs to be given sediment. Enjoyable, but not complex; flavors of cherries, oak, some alcohol. Easy to drink. Some lasting character. I love the Ribera del Duero region and think it's underapreciated, so looking for a good everyday wine from the region. This is a contender given the price, but not the clear winner.
