  Wow! The bouquet and taste profile feature the dustiness of moderately oaked Sangiovese...and also, something else. Was not surprised to learn that it is an 80/20 Sangiovese/Cabernet Sauvignon blend. The longer it breathes the more power and grip it adds. In a great spot now. 91-92.

  This is a wine that is only getting better and better. Deep ruby red that opens with black cherry, tomato leaf and earth on the nose. The flavors include black cherry, licorice and a lovely chalky, limestone note. The finish lingers and includes a slight flinty note. I’m thankful I have 8 bottles left to enjoy over the years as it continues to shock and stun for its depth, balance and density. Can I wait until next year to open the next bottle? Stay tuned...
