ChTR kokous 14.05.2014 (SKO-toimisto): Decanted, tasted double blind. Humph, this was a bit of a meh wine, a disappointment. Not much going on, some dark berries, not much tannins, a bit watery. Drinkable, but not interesting.

Translucent dark cherry color with a blue hue. Quite sweet and rather dark-toned nose with aromas of ripe red cherry, even cherry chocolate confectionery, some blueberries, a little juicy red berries and hints of smoky volcanic earth notes. Dry, medium-bodied and quite juicy on the palate with flavors of sour cherries, wild red berries, some bitter dark berry skin notes and hints of sooty volcanic minerality. Moderate acidity, moderate tannins. Medium-long finish with flavors of redcurrants, sooty, ripe red cherries, some bitter spices and a hint of dark berries.
A juicy, berry-driven red wine. Reliable for everyday use, but offers quite little of anything really interesting. A tasty but simple drink-and-forget-wine.
