  14.5% - Clear, med to deep purple / clean, med+ intensity - ripe blackberry, black cherry, underbrush, smoky-charcoal, spicy, dark chocolate / dry, med refreshing acidity, med to full body, med round tannins, med+ intensity, med+ length. Slightly austere at first, but opened up nicely over the course of the meal. This is pretty good, but I preferred the Vacqueyras I had last summer from Arnoux & Fils - Vieux Clocher.
