One has to ask after tasting this delicious wine, "What happened to California Colombard?" Maybe we just couldn't make it this good and gave up it, or Chardonnay so dominated the market that they have pretty much disappeared. I'll take this Colombard over many Chardonnays. Rich, fruity and balanced with good acidity and not over-oaked. I'll get more Mont Gravet.

For the price, this is a lovely white wine. It has a fruity nose and on the palate it has grapefruit, lime, slate and generally nice minerality along with zippy acidity. It's really a good food wine as I had it with some green coconut curry.

Drank over three days. Pale yellow color, medium bodied. Mineral nose. The flavors were hard for me to pin down; a bit all over the place .The first day it wasn't quite cool enough. Front was almost tropical fruity, finish was acidic. 2nd and third days the wine was colder, and the apple/tartness/acidity came through at the beginning. What threw me off was that there was so much bright acidity, yet fruity flavors would pop up here and there. Very interesting. Good with or without food.

Pale yellow, inviting nose, with notes of wet stone, green apple, kiwi, and lemon. Quite tart, but this softens with air. No noticeable oak. Medium minus finish. Could go well with ceviche or most citrus/vinaigrette. Only 87 pts but this wine offers excellent value.
forgot about her in the fridge, pleasant surprise: significantly better on day 3.

Semi-dry, but full fruit. Lots of apples and nectarine. Nice.
