Last bottle. Wife loved it, but this wasn’t doing anything for me tonight. My taste buds may have been off. A bit candied and hot, with a wee shallow mid palate.

Almost opaque. In a blind tasting, described as a “classic oregon pinot nose” by the group. Berries were the common descriptor for the body as well as ending in some pepper. Popular with the crowd.

Precisely the same as the 6/12/2019 note. If anything, some further improvement and really a quite enjoyable, reasonably complex wine that is super food friendly, but also able to stand on its own. Really good stuff. Will stay on top of its game for at least another 5 years.

PnP. Medium floral bouquet, followed by medium-light bodied cherry. Solid effort with several more years to evolve.
