Popped and poured. Lovely floral nose. Violets, ripe blackberry, roast meats, leather, herbs and earth. Full bodied, ripe but not overdone fruit, meaty, well integrated tannins. This wine is excellent shape and shows no signs of maturity.

One hour slow ox. Pretty bouquet of black berries, garrique, roast meats and spice. The palate is open knit, fleshy and a bit unfocused but has plenty of ripe fruit and layers of interesting flavors without being overdone or showing heat. Overall this is a fun wine to drink but not one built for many more years of evolution.

Slow oxed for an hour. Lovely aromas of black fruit, lavender and tobacco. This is developed nicely. Packed with flavor with interesting layers of complexity developing. Black fruit, game and spice come through on the palate. This is a big and concentrated but really well balanced at the same time. This can continue to age and develop over at least ten years in my opinion.

Decanted thirty minutes. Big overt nose of black fruit, roast meat and spice. The palate is thick, full bodied and unctuous with flavors of black currant, underbrush and roast meat. This is a big wine with a long finish and the potential to age for another ten years.
